Our Vehicles
The Dobbs Ferry Volunteer Ambulance Corps currently operates two basic life support ambulances to serve the community. We are currently in the process of evaluating options to replace our fleet and looking for donations to assist us in obtaining a new apparatus.
Current Vehicles:

This 4x4 drive ambulance was designed by a committee of our members and custom assembled by Eastford Truck Sales to fit our unique needs. 56-B2 is equipped with a power stretcher and power loader from Stryker and a air ride suspension for the comfort of our patients.
56-B1 TYPE III AMBULANCE
This ambulance is a 1998 Type III ambulance built on a Ford E350 chassis. This ambulance features a Whelen siren and emergency lighting, an airhorn, and a Stryker power stretcher.
RETIRED VEHICLES
"Ambulance 1"
This ambulance was originally purchased in 1985 and placed into service as DFVAC Ambulance 1. As EMS was organized by County Dispatch 60-Control, it was designated to be 56-B1. Upon the purchase of the now current 56-B2, Ambulance 1 was repurposed as a Fire Rehab Unit to help support the surrounding fire departments during extended fire deployments until its retirement in 2007
